The Annual Town Meeting was held Monday, June 13, 2016 7:00 p.m. at the Madison Area Junior High School. The attested warrant with minutes can be found attached to this page. It is also located in the back of your Town Report. 2016 Town Reports are available at the Town Office.
The Town of Madison is a Town Meeting/Town Manager form of government. We operate under Title 30-A of the Maine Revised Statues Annotated.
Town Meeting is the true governing body of the Town. Our annual Town Meeting is held in the month of June on the Monday before the second Tuesday of the month.

Looking to run for locally elected office? Papers must be taken out and the required number of signatures returned up to 6 weeks prior to local elections. Local elections are held the second Tuesday in June. Contact the Town Clerk for details.
