Anson & Madison Water District Emergency Preparedness Workshop

Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
Old Point Avenue School Meeting Room, Madison

The Anson & Madison Water District will hold a workshop for its trustees, County Emergency Management Agency representatives, town officials, and other involved parties to review the recent fluoride overfeed incident.

The workshop will focus on reviewing the incident, strengthening community emergency preparedness and communication, and updating the District’s Emergency Response Plan.

The public is welcome to attend. Please be aware that this is a working session focused on emergency response planning.

Residents may also attend the District’s regularly scheduled Trustees meeting on October 15, 2026.

Community feedback is an important part of the planning and ordinance-drafting process. It helps the Planning Board, Select Board, and Town Planner better understand the perspectives of residents—including those who may not be able to attend public meetings.
