Certified copies of Birth, Marriage, and Death records are available at our office. The cost is $15.00 for the first copy and $6.00 for each additional one of the same certificate purchased at the same time. You may come into our office or order copies by mail.
The Town of Madison serves as an agent for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (IF&W) for the registration and re-registration of boats, snowmobiles, and all terrain vehicles (ATVs). This service is only available to Madison residents. You can find out more information on how to register your boat, snowmobile or ATV at the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife website.

The Annual Town Meeting is held each year on the second Monday in June at 7:00 p.m. at the Madison Area Junior High School.
The Town of Madison is a Town Meeting/Town Manager form of government. We operate under Title 30-A of the Maine Revised Statues Annotated.
