Plastics

Acceptable Items: Plastic Bottles and Containers. The types of Plastic that are accepted is #1: Disposable Beverage and Food Containers. #2: Milk Jugs, Detergent and Cooking Oil Bottles. #5 Empty Medicine Bottles and some stiffer plastics such as  microwave safe take out containers.
Preparation: Rinse or washout.
Unacceptable Items: Motor Oil containers, plastic bowls, cups, trays, film, caps or lids, dirty containers.

To check what type of plastic you have you can look on the bottom of the container and there should be a number.

Curbside pickup is provided for a fee on the second and fourth weeks of each month.  If you are a new resident or are currently not participating in the program, please contact Chris Roy at 399-4392 to sign up for this service.
